Sobre os elementos crist\u00e3os presentes na can\u00e7\u00e3o, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pucsp.br\/rever\/rv3_2006\/t_caldas.htm\">explana o o professor Carlos Caldas<\/a> (Doutor em Ci\u00eancias da Religi\u00e3o pela Universidade Metodista de S\u00e3o Paulo):<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">observam-se elementos simb\u00f3licos crist\u00e3os na poesia: o an\u00fancio daquele que vem \u00e9 feito por um\u00a0<em>anjo<\/em>, tradicional mensageiro divino nas Escrituras Sagradas da tradi\u00e7\u00e3o judaico-crist\u00e3. A poesia fala de\u00a0<em>sinais<\/em>\u00a0que evidenciam a chegada deste ser n\u00e3o identificado. A palavra\u00a0<em>sinais<\/em>\u00a0\u00e9 muito usada no Novo Testamento exatamente para fazer refer\u00eancia a ind\u00edcios indicativos da proximidade do fim dos tempos<span style=\"font-size: 13.4583px;\">.\u00a0<\/span>Al\u00e9m disso, \u00e9 dito que este personagem viria\u00a0<em>numa manh\u00e3 de domingo<\/em>, o dia sagrado do Cristianismo. O que vem \u00e9 descrito como chegando montado em um cavalo. Esse cavaleiro n\u00e3o identificado faz lembrar a descri\u00e7\u00e3o da vis\u00e3o de Jo\u00e3o de Patmos em Apocalipse 19:11.
